Job Description Summary
Global Real Estate (GRE) is at the cornerstone of driving transformation for GE HealthCare, and GRE’s role includes optimizing and reinvesting the global footprint. The Facilities Manager & Site Leader is accountable for the safe, compliant, sustainable, and cost-effective operation of the site while serving as the senior site representative. This role ensures alignment with GE HealthCare policies, GRE standards, EHS requirements, and business objectives, combining facilities leadership with site governance and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead site facilities operations to ensure maintenance performance, reliability, and continuity of services
- Ensure full compliance with GE Healthcare Workplace, GRE, and EHS standards
- Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and employee experience
- Own the site operating budget and Long‑Term Strategy (LTS)
- Plan, control, and govern CAPEX projects in line with investment and approval processes
- Manage OPEX performance, driving cost optimization and financial discipline
- Ensure accountability for site security, health, and safety performance
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ICPE, ISRN)
- Act as primary site contact for audits, inspections, and regulatory authorities
- Lead CO₂ reduction initiatives and define/deploy the site energy strategy including sourcing and contracts
- Define and manage food and beverage strategy, including supplier contracts and service quality
Site Leadership & Governance
- Represent the site at the highest level, supporting customer attraction, hosting, and business activities
- Ensure site image aligns with GE Healthcare brand and compliance expectations
- Lead site communications to ensure employee awareness of site news, policies, and safety requirements
- Promote a culture of engagement, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Coordinate and host site visits and participate in leadership committees
- Act as Management Representative in CSSCT and employee forums
- Contribute to the site strategic orientation aligned with priorities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- Significant experience in facilities management, site leadership, or site operations
- Strong knowledge of EHS, regulatory compliance, and ISO certification frameworks
- Experience managing budgets, CAPEX, and OPEX
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization
- French fluent; professional English proficiency required
