About The Mission We Offer You
As a Fabrication Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all fabrication activities (in workshops, fabrication yards, or at suppliers’ premises), ensuring that equipment and structures are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities (Home Office & Project Phase)
- Define, in coordination with the Project Manager and Supply Chain teams, the fabrication and subcontracting strategy
- Review fabrication scope, technical documentation, and supplier capabilities
- Contribute to project planning by integrating fabrication sequences and constraints into the overall schedule
- Identify critical paths related to fabrication and propose mitigation actions
- Define fabrication work packages and associated release plans
- Ensure availability of engineering deliverables (drawings, specifications) and materials required for fabrication start
- Review and approve fabrication procedures and key technical deliverables
- Lead and contribute to constructability and fabrication reviews, ensuring proper follow‑up of actions
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams
At fabrication sites / suppliers
- Supervise and coordinate fabrication activities at workshops, yards, or supplier facilities
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, and contractual specifications
- Monitor fabrication progress and anticipate delays or deviations
- Coordinate inspections, testing, and validation milestones (ITP)
- Manage non‑conformities and ensure implementation of corrective actions
- Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and resources required for fabrication
- Interface with suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
- Support preparation for shipment and delivery to site
About You
To succeed, you should have:
- Technical degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent)
- Strong experience in fabrication, construction, or industrial project execution
- Solid understanding of fabrication processes (steel structures, piping, equipment, modules, etc.)
- Proven leadership and coordination skills in complex, multicultural environments
- Experience managing suppliers and fabrication yards
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to anticipate issues and drive solutions
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel internationally and be deployed to fabrication sites
