Export Control Projects & Solutions Manager(M/F)
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Export Control Projects & Solutions Manager (M/F) to join the Export Control Programme Office Department in Toulouse, France . This strategic role leads complex Export Control projects and oversees the development of digital business applications to ensure compliance is rooted within the company's integrity culture.
Responsibilities
- Governance & Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance for Transport & Logistics Providers, coordinating Supply Chain actions and negotiating export control procurement clauses.
- Conduct due diligence and site visits to identify "red flags" and assess the impact of external supplier rebranding on US Export Control licenses.
- Assess and manage the impact of external supplier rebranding on Airbus export licenses and declarations required by US Export Control Authorities.
- Support the development and deployment of Airbus Commercial Transport and Logistic Applications.
- Solution Management & Digital Development: Act as lead for the Global Export Control System (GECS) Programme to develop export control business applications across different divisions.
- Requirement Formalization: Lead efforts to write and formalize business requirements for target digital solutions.
- Team Oversight: Oversee a team of technical professionals working with stakeholders to establish data security, processes, and appropriate technology use.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of products, applications, or services from design and definition to industrialization and retirement.
- SLA & KPI Reporting: Maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for digital solutions.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, information management systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including previous people management of technical teams.
Technical Expertise
- Proven track record in Agile/Scrum (SAFe) and lean processes; certifications like PMP, PM Bronze, or SAFe Programme Consultant.
- IT Management: Expertise in Software Requirement and Change Management, Product Lifecycle Management, and IT/Business strategy alignment.
- Deep understanding of ITAR/EAR requirements and classification.
- 3-5 years in Export Controls, dual‑use software, and technical data transfers in multi‑national environments.
- Deep knowledge of key functions including Procurement, Transport & Logistics, Engineering, and Customs.
- Ability to simplify complex legal or technical requirements for broad stakeholder groups.
- Strong capability to communicate compliance importance to digital and logistics teams without stifling operational efficiency.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset in identifying digital/regulatory trends.
- Negotiation level in English; proficiency in French, Spanish or German is a plus.
