A role that can include overseeing a team of platform engineers, and making key technical decisions in the realm of platform development and operations. Key responsibilities include at least one of the following:

• Cloud platforms: responsibilities and tasks related to cloud service implementation and management.
• Team Leadership and Management: Oversee a team of platform engineers, focusing on team dynamics and effective delivery of cloud platform solutions.
• Technical Guidance and Decision Making: Provide technical leadership and make critical decisions regarding platform architecture, tools, and processes, balancing hands‑on involvement with strategic oversight.
• Mentorship and Skill Development: Mentor team members, enhance their technical skills, and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation in platform engineering practices.
• Deep Technical Proficiency: Possess a deep understanding of platform engineering principles and practices, demonstrating proficiency in key technical areas such as cloud services, automation, and system architecture.
• Practice Development: Contribute significantly to the development of the platform engineering community, staying abreast of emerging trends and applying this knowledge to drive improvements in the capability.
• ESM platforms: Expert knowledge of ESM platforms and processes, executive service improvement opportunities, assisting in gathering and reviewing requirements and mapping to integration platform features.
• DevOps: Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Site Reliability Engineering: Oversee software and performance of the full technology stack, ensuring reliability and scalability of applications.
