Job Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve the Group Claims Quality Control and Leakage Management framework
- Coordinate Closed File Reviews (CFR) and Open File Reviews (OFR) across entities
- Support the deployment and formalization of Open File Reviews (OFR) and risk‑based monitoring approaches
- Assess claims handling quality and compliance with Group standards
- Identify leakage drivers and root causes
- Support the implementation of remediation plans
Expert Responsibilities
- Analyse quality review results
- Develop relevant KPIs and reporting for entities, the group and boards
- Promote best claims management practices
- Contribute to the deployment of risk‑based controls, automation and data‑driven solutions aimed at reducing avoidable claims costs
- Improve technical performance
- Strengthen overall claims governance across the group
Technical Claims Expertise & Governance
- Act as a subject‑matter expert on claims handling best practices
- Participate in Claims Governance Committees and Technical Excellence reviews
- Support claims transformation initiatives and the implementation of Group standards including Generali standards
- Contribute to the review and update of Claims Guidelines
- Support internal audits, IDR reviews and technical assessments
- Conduct claims file analysis and contribute to recommendations issued to entities
Fraud Program Support
- Support the Group Fraud Manager in the coordination of organized fraud cases involving several entities
- Follow‑up actions resulting from fraud investigations
- Support monitoring of fraud alerts generated by claims systems
- Contribute to fraud prevention and fraud detection initiatives
- Assist with operational reporting and governance related to fraud matters
- Coordinate exchanges between entities involved in international fraud schemes
Profile
- Master’s degree in Insurance or equivalent
- 5 to 10 years of experience in claims management
- International and multi‑entity experience
- Fluent in English and French (English is the group’s working language)
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to synthesize complex data for executive stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multicultural projects and work agilely between strategic vision and operational execution
- Strong experience in claims handling, supervision, quality control or claims auditing and fraud prevention, leakage management or operational excellence
- Experience in travel, assistance, motor, health or property claims is an advantage
- Experience working in an international environment is highly desirable
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Project management skills
- Data analysis and reporting capabilities
- Strong affinity for automation, digitalization and AI‑based solutions
