Experienced Static (Metal & Composite) Stress engineer (f/m)
Overview
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Structural Stress Engineer (f/m) for its Customer Service Repair Department in Toulouse, France. The role involves developing Structural Repair Manual (SRM) documentation and contributing to stress, design, and technical data engineering.

Responsibilities
- Create and validate stress justifications for structural repair solutions.
- Analyze aircraft structure (nose/center fuselage, pylon, engine mounts) and publish SRM documentation.
- Anticipate and introduce customer recurrent engineering cases within generic SRM solutions.
- Coordinate technical interfaces daily across Airbus divisions and manage the subcontracting network.
- Drive continuous improvement of working methods and support the team’s digital transformation.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience in stress analysis (static analysis for metal and composite calculations).
- Strong proficiency in stress analytical or FEM tools and Airbus tools such as ISAMI and ISAMI Xpress.
- Proven ability to write and understand Python scripts for data manipulation and task automation.
- Understanding of fundamental machine‑learning concepts and algorithms for predictive modelling and data analysis.
- Advanced level of English and intermediate level of French.
