Experienced FPGA Engineer
Role Overview
Arm’s Sophia Antipolis design centre offers the opportunity for a hardworking FPGA engineer to participate in the accelerated verification of next-generation CPUs. Located in France’s largest technology park, the centre delivers leading products from the Arm Cortex processor family and uses key verification technologies across all design centres.
As an FPGA Engineer you will develop and maintain innovative debug techniques to simplify and improve design verification on FPGA, for example by adding assertion, execution trace and coverage support to images. You will work in a multi‑site, multi‑team, multi‑cultural environment and directly collaborate with engineers across the company to build next‑generation CPUs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Graduated from a university or engineering school in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronic / Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience in FPGA development with a solid understanding of the RTL-to-bitstream tool flow.
- Strong high‑level programming skills in C, C++, Python, or SystemVerilog and strong low‑level programming skills in assembly and/or low‑level CRTL design & synthesis.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of microprocessors.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
