Experienced Accountant

We are seeking an Experienced General Accountant to help produce reliable financial information and ensure compliance with the company’s accounting, tax, and legal obligations.You will actively participate in audit and month-end closing tasks, prepare tax returns, and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes in collaboration with the Finance team.

Your responsibilities:

• Participate in general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management operations in collaboration with the accounting team.
• Prepare and review adjusting entries, provisions, accruals, and miscellaneous transactions.
• Conduct monthly account reviews and reconcile balances.
• Participate in monthly and annual closings.
• Preparing audit files and closing documents.
• Preparing and tracking all tax and legal filings (VAT, DEB/DES, CFE, CVAE, miscellaneous taxes, and other reporting obligations).
• Monitoring accounting, tax, and regulatory developments and participating in the implementation of changes affecting the company.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports.
• Prepare and provide the information requested for audits and inspections (statutory auditors, certified public accountants, government agencies).
• Participate in projects to improve accounting, tax, and financial procedures.

Job Description:

You have a degree in accounting or finance (Bac+2 to Bac+5) and have significant experience in accounting.

Experience at an accounting firm, including the independent management of accounting files through to the preparation of annual financial statements and tax returns, is highly desirable—ideally 3 to 5 years, during which you have acquired solid skills in general accounting, auditing, taxation, and the preparation of annual financial statements.

Fluet in French, you have a level of English that allows you to understand and handle simple professional communications in writing and, occasionally, verbally. You are proficient in office software, and familiarity with Sage software is a plus.
