Role Description

The Experienced Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting. The role includes preparing and analyzing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. The accountant will collaborate closely with management to provide financial insights that support project planning, cost control, and business decisions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gas, requiring regular coordination with project and production teams to track costs and maintain accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, preferably in project-based or construction-related environments.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, reconciliations, and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of applicable tax laws, regulatory requirements, and standard accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Prior experience as an accountant, ideally at an experienced level, with a track record of reliability and integrity.
