Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Event Marketing
- Designs and implements audience acquisition strategies and tactical plans to develop the awareness of our conferences and the sales of tickets
- Analyse sales data to adapt marketing strategies accordingly
- Develop necessary digital content (emails, videos, social media content, executive summaries, etc…)
- Manage on-site communications and liaise with the event team
- Support other teams in the promotion of the event by creating various communication toolkits
- Manage external vendors supporting the communications of events (photographers, designers, videographers, etc…)
- Manage Marketing Budgets
- Develop external partnerships to increase events visibility
- Report on efficacy and ROI of communication activities
- Ensure the visual identity of events are followed
Digital Communications
- Maintain the corporate websites up-to-date and ensure its evolution (WordPress)
- Develop CRM strategies to support the acquisition of new members and maintain engagement of existing members (MailChimp, Salesforce)
- Support other members of the team to upskill when it comes to digital marketing
Requirements
Key Requirements
Hard Skills
- The successful candidate will work primarily in English; and should therefore be either a native/very fluent English speaker with excellent writing skills and at ease in French for internal communication.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Event Marketing and digital communications in an international environment
- 5 years of experience producing digital content (email, social, web)
- Skilled project manager that know how to prioritise and plan timelines carefully, proactively and effectively communicate across project teams to advance milestones and manage competing priorities
- Exceptional communicator — clear, concise, and confident in both written and verbal interactions.
- Deep knowledge of Wordpress, CRM (Mailchimp & SalesForce), Adobe Suite, Google Suite, HTML

- Results-oriented, self-motivated with a track record of delivering on commitments
- Must have a high attention to details, as our communications reach CEOs
- A strong team player with a collaborative mind set, proactive approach yet able to work autonomously

- Strong presentation skills as well as personable demeanour with internal clients, departments and C-level key contacts.

Other
- Travel abroad for at least 3 weeks/year
- Experience in international environments
- Capacity to adapt to different political and diplomatic environment
