European Engineering Lead – Paris, FRA
Location: Paris, FRA. Travel may be required from time to time.
Job Summary
To manage and ensure the compliant delivery of all engineering services in line with JLL’s Statement of work and delivery methods, ensuring Playbook and OCP compliance, overseeing preventive and reactive maintenance, project works, help desk calls, and technical advice across minor projects.
Responsibilities
- Ensure contractual compliance with all engineering delivery.
- Be responsible for technical delivery and governance of contract requirements and organize the site team.
- Monitor and update training requirements for engineering personnel.
- Oversee maintenance and project activities, ensuring safety compliance per site procedures.
- Drive and deliver innovative cost‑reduction or sustainability programs.
- Lead site teams in preparing budget documentation for client approvals.
- Provide staff support during peak workloads and cover holiday and sickness for senior engineering team.
- Supervise full‑time, part‑time, subcontractors and specialist providers.
- Offer technical guidance on preventive maintenance and extra works delivery.
- Maintain clear and legible records in accordance with procedures.
- Participate in emergency out‑of‑hour escalations and submit written incident reports.
- Develop and sign off detailed planning of IST testing activities with local teams.
- Coordinate test windows with internal clients, controlling documentation via ServiceNow.
- Implement Playbook procedures and validate as required.
- Identify and notify operational risks to the regional team.
- Update Battery and Capacitor trackers to schedule replacements before failures.
- Perform annual Plant Condition Assessment, maintain critical spares inventory and PPM plan.
- Oversee change requests for works impacting critical services.
- Test and record fire systems.
- Close actions assigned from audits and assurance visits, produce gap plans.
- Manage direct reports and participate in succession planning, development, and training.
Qualifications
- Trade qualified in an engineering discipline.
- Authority Person (High Voltage, Mechanical Systems, Confined Space) is desirable.
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or recognised equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in Critical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a lead or management role.
