Overview
The EU Field & Education Manager is responsible for supporting REFY's brand presence, education delivery and retail execution across Europe. This hands‑on role for an experienced beauty retail and education professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment will act as a key representative of the REFY brand across Sephora EU, delivering education programmes, supporting in‑store excellence and building strong relationships with Sephora stakeholders across launch markets.
Key Responsibilities
Field & Retail Execution
- Act as a REFY brand representative across Sephora EU, supporting consistent in‑store standards across all doors.
- Support in‑store execution during launch and post‑launch phases, including new door openings.
- Maintain gondola presentation, tester placement and visual merchandising standards in partnership with Sephora teams.
- Conduct regular store visits to an agreed cadence, prioritising key cities including Paris, Rome and Milan.
- Monitor stock and inventory issues, escalating risks and opportunities to Sephora and REFY stakeholders where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Sephora store leadership, district teams and country education managers.
- Support consistent brand execution and customer experience across all retail locations.
Education & Training
- Deliver engaging in‑person training across Sephora stores, regional sessions, masterclasses and train‑the‑trainer programmes.
- Adapt and localise REFY education content for European markets in partnership with the global education team.
- Support REFY and Sephora education events across Europe, travelling as required to deliver training and brand education initiatives.
- Gather feedback from retail teams and customers to support the ongoing development of education programmes.
Operations & Field Coordination
- Coordinate field activities and education coverage across European markets in partnership with internal stakeholders and external field support.
- Support onboarding and activation of freelance field resources where required, ensuring alignment with REFY brand standards and education programmes.
- Monitor productivity and retail execution metrics, highlighting opportunities and risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Support the development of scalable processes and tools as REFY expands its European retail footprint.
- Escalate operational, scheduling or compliance‑related issues through the appropriate internal channels.
Sales & Performance Support
- Drive sell‑through through on‑floor coaching, selling support and dedicated selling days.
- Support performance improvement initiatives in under‑performing doors through education and retail engagement.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, sell‑through and door rankings across the store network.
- Use education and customer engagement as key drivers of commercial performance.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare weekly and monthly reporting on sales performance, training coverage and store visits.
- Highlight risks, opportunities and key market insights to internal stakeholders.
- Act as a voice of the EU market, sharing feedback on product performance, customer behaviour and market trends with Commercial, Brand, Product Development and Education teams.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to support successful execution of REFY's European retail strategy.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in prestige beauty retail, education or field roles, with multi‑market exposure.
- Proven leadership experience building, managing and developing freelance or in‑store teams, ideally across multiple countries.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in both French and English (essential), with additional languages such as Italian or Spanish strongly preferred.
- Strong existing relationship with Sephora and ideally an established Sephora EU network.
- Confident leading in‑person training and education across diverse audiences.
- Highly organised, with strong process‑building instincts and the ability to bring structure to ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational, scheduling and HR matters across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with a focus on driving sell‑through and identifying performance opportunities.
- Deep understanding of how education, retail standards and freelance management drive in‑store sales.
- Experience supporting a brand launch or scaling into a new market is a strong bonus.
