Job Description: Take off with Airbus Helicopters! Airbus Helicopters is looking for a DOA Manager (m/f) to join the Design Office based in Marignane, France. You will have a unique professional experience, at the heart of the manufacturing of our helicopters.
Your future missions:
- DOA Approvals & Privileges Management: Direct and secure design organisation approvals and associated privileges, including establishing and maintaining design organisation manuals and demonstrating compliance to Airworthiness Authorities.
- Compliance Assurance & Surveillance: Ensure continuous and effective compliance of the design assurance system with applicable regulatory requirements (independent surveillance function) to maintain the trust of Airworthiness Authorities.
- Issue Resolution & Operational Support: Resolve complex DOA queries to support certification milestones, aircraft (A/C) deliveries, and fleet availability.
- Partner Integration & Governance: Ensure the seamless integration of design suppliers and partners within the design assurance system, and manage the cascade of authority and design organisation signatories.
- Expertise, Interfaces & Safety Culture: Drive cross‑functional coordination (DO‑PO interfaces, inter‑DOAs), support SMS and ISMS implementation, and represent Airbus in regulatory and standardisation activities.
Your profile:
- At least 8 years of professional experience within an aviation design organisation or in aircraft certification activities.
- Strong technical expertise in aviation regulations, specifically EASA Part21J.
- Proven track record in managing cross‑functional and international projects, including direct interactions with Airworthiness Authorities.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- English: Advanced level (mandatory).
