We are looking for a Rotor System Design Work Package Manager for H225/H215 joining the Rotor System Design team in Marignane.

Work Package Manager responsibilities
- Ensuring that the team will deliver a product, a system or a service in line with a mission letter.
- Ensuring team adherence to the mission and continuously checking clarity.
- Managing relationship with stakeholders & customers.
- Managing relationship with metier.
- Managing workload vs stakeholders.
- Participating in iteration & system review/demo and retrospective.
- Reporting to squad leaders and Head of department.
You will have to manage an operational team between 4 to 8 persons belonging to Rotor System Design team.
Your missions will be
- Design of rotor systems, following detailed design & compliance to requirements of safety, performance, manufacturing, assembly, reliability for any design change and/or new design.
- Substantiation and through:
- Flight, ground or bench tests (tests requests, preparation, attendance, conclusions).
- Analysis.
- Technical documentations (permit to fly documents with direct discussions with EASA or other authorities).
- Maintenance creation, update or extension.
- Knowledge capitalization.
Your squad will be in constant interface with
- The different AH departments: ground and flight tests, material and expertise laboratory, production preparation, loads, thermal, other systems (blades, flight controls, transmission, structure, …).
- Purchasing, support, projects, programs.
- AH sites (Paris Le Bourget, Donauworth).
- Subcontracting companies.
- Suppliers.
Potential TVE role
Depending on your experience, you may also be required to occupy a function of TVE (Technical Verification Engineer), technical referent with the responsibility of validating the deliverables to ensure that these deliverables correspond to our design rules and methods (HTECH technical reference).
Your profile
- Educated to 5 years' degree level (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering.
- Over 10 years of experience in the aeronautical industry and engineering.
- Synthesis spirit, rigorous, product and operation oriented.
- Good leadership according to Airbus leadership model.
- Good communication skills and relationship, team spirit.
- Language skills: Advanced level in English and negotiation level in French.
Additional skills and experience would be a plus
- More than 5 years of experience in AH design office.
- Experience in certification.
- Experience in leading and managing.
- Language skills: German.
