Drive System Design IT Tools Responsible

Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining and advancing the software ecosystem for the design and calculation of transmission systems within Transportation Design & Dynamic Systems Architecture.
Responsibilities
- Develop long-term strategy and roadmap for design tools, balancing maintenance of legacy systems and innovation.
- Full-stack development of internal applications (architecture, Python backend, JavaScript/HTML/CSS frontend).
- Maintain and optimize legacy calculation tools coded in VBA.
- Interface with ETIT "Metiers" (gears, bearings, lubrication, stress analysis) to translate technical constraints into digital tools.
- Ensure tools comply with Airbus Helicopters technical processes and certification standards.
- Drive continuous improvement of development workflows and quality practices.
Qualifications
- University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with a strong IT specialization.
- High proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Experience managing complete web applications (frontend & backend).
- Ability to maintain and debug VBA code.
- Advanced English. French negotiation level required.
- Security clearance required or eligibility for clearance.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of C++.
- Basic mechanical engineering concepts (kinematics, strength of materials).
Soft Skills
- Adaptability, autonomy, and synthesis ability to build a coherent tool strategy.
