A vacancy for a Certification Qualification Engineer within the Tiger Program has arisen within Airbus Helicopters. Responsibilities
You will join the Airworthiness Office of Airbus Helicopters in Marignane and become part of the Chief Airworthiness Engineer's (CAE) Team for Governmental program (Tiger and NH90) to support the safety of our products by managing the Certification, Qualification and initial Airworthiness activities for your program (Tiger). This includes new helicopter type certification, changes to existing helicopter type certificates and flight clearances. Each project involves various contributors such as Chief Engineering, designers, internal and external specialists, customer support, prototype shop, Final Assembly Line, and others.
- Lead process and template creation / update in the frame of Tiger MDOA.
- Foster improvements and harmonisation within the Tiger team.
- Support other CQEs by tutoring / mentoring, as an experienced CQE.
- Deal with complex or important airworthiness topics for Tiger activity.
- Represent Airworthiness in all routines related to Tiger MDOA.
- For projects allocated to you as CQE, define the Certification / Qualification logics and elaborate and harmonise the certification & qualification plans, associated demonstrations of compliance, and the final Modification Substantiation Reports.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- At least 5 years of overall experience in certification.
- At least 1 year of overall experience in project management.
- Good level of communication.
- Comfortable in negotiation situations.
- Advanced level of English and French.
