Essentiale - Global Brand Strategy Lead (H/F)

As a Global Brand Strategy Lead, you’ll bring your skill, curiosity and drive to make health simpler, smarter and more human.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Brand Strategy Ownership & Direction

    Lead the development, refinement, and articulation of the long‑term global brand strategy for Essentiale. Define the brand’s global strategic priorities, growth drivers, positioning, and portfolio strategy. Translate the brand vision into clear, actionable strategic frameworks for global, zonal, and market teams.

  2. Growth Acceleration & Business Leadership

    Identify and size global growth opportunities, whitespace, and competitive advantage territories. Drive strategic choices that strengthen brand equity, penetration, and profitability across markets. Partner with Finance, Insights, and key functions to develop fact‑based recommendations and performance steering.

  3. Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Leadership

    Foster strong collaboration across the global Essentiale team, serving as the strategic anchor for Global Brand Lead, Global Innovation Lead, and Global HCP Lead. Work closely with Zonal Brand Leads and priority‑market B&I Leads to ensure global strategy is understood, adopted, and executed consistently. Build alignment across global, zonal, and local teams through clear communication, strategic storytelling, and shared ownership of brand goals.

  4. Strategic Planning & Governance

    Lead the annual strategic planning cycle for Essentiale, including long‑range forecasts, brand ambition, and strategic roadmap development. Own global brand guardrails, ensuring consistent execution and safeguarding of brand equity across markets. Provide strategic input into innovation, medical/HCP strategy, communication, and performance management frameworks.

  5. Market Partnership & Performance Stewardship

    Act as the strategic business partner for priority markets, supporting them in translating global strategy into strong local plans. Review market performance, diagnose issues, and recommend strategic interventions to unlock growth. Facilitate structured best‑practice sharing to accelerate learning and elevate brand consistency.

  6. Leadership & Influence

    Influence and engage senior stakeholders across the organization with clear, compelling strategic narratives. Represent the brand’s strategic agenda in key cross‑functional and governance forums. Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across the global Essentiale community.

About You

  • Business School or Bac+5 + MBA (ideally with focus on marketing)
  • 12+ years minimum experience in consumer marketing in recognized OTC/FMCG companies
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies & branding, ideally with both DTC & medical detailing strategies
  • Experience in advertising development, brand positioning, communication & new product concepts development
  • Very good mastery of Microsoft Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint essential)
  • Experience managing projects independently and autonomously
  • Languages: English required; French or German is a plus
  • Strategic thinking, creativity and problem‑solving
  • Strong analytical thinking, action planning and organizing
  • Team spirit, persuasiveness & influence, highly collaborative with all cross‑functional partners
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to changing strategies and priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, especially in group presentations
