About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and curious ESG & Communications Intern to support our ESG Manager in developing, structuring, and amplifying Pure Trade’s sustainability strategy.
This internship is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, impact, communication, and innovation , and who loves juggling both quantitative analysis and creative storytelling .
You will actively contribute to a wide variety of strategic and operational ESG projects. You will be at the heart of the transformation of a company working with the world’s largest beauty and luxury brands.
Your Missions
1. Support ESG Certifications & External Assessments
- Contribute to the preparation and follow‑up of certification audits (GRS, GOTS, FSC, Fair Trade, etc.).
- Assist in maintaining our EcoVadis Platinum medal , by gathering documentation and structuring evidence.
- Support the response to ESG information requests from major clients (L'Oréal, LVMH, etc.).
2. ESG Strategy & Impact Projects
- Help the ESG Manager define and structure our SBTi climate targets , including carbon data collection and analysis.
- Contribute to our B Corp certification process and other impact‑driven frameworks.
- Build and update internal dashboards (carbon accounting, suppliers, KPIs).
3. Environmental & Social Benchmarking
- Conduct benchmarks on sustainability best practices in the luxury, beauty, and packaging sectors .
- Analyze communication and environmental initiatives from leading brands to inspire our own approach.
- Prepare recommendations to strengthen our positive impact across the value chain.
4. Communications & Content Creation
- Assist the Communications team in keeping our internal and external channels updated (LinkedIn, website, newsletters).
- Transform complex ESG topics into clear, inspiring storytelling for clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Draft content that highlights our sustainability achievements and projects.
Who You Are
- A student in business, engineering, sustainability, communications, or related fields .
- Strong interest in ESG , sustainable business transformation, and storytelling.
- Comfortable working with numbers (carbon accounting, KPIs, dashboards).
- Excellent writing skills (English or French).
- Curious, proactive, organized.
- A team player who likes working cross‑functionally.
