ESG Analyst

Ascend is developing Harnest, the first non-financial data platform designed to help companies effectively manage their sustainability.

We combine:

• a catalogue of +3,500 ESG data points, mapped to more than 10 repositories.
• a sovereign infrastructure, designed for traceability and auditability,
• sovereign AI (Mistral) to assist with data collection, drafting, and analysis,
• a VSME+ module to address territorial and sectoral challenges (DITB, energy, health, digital, regions, etc.).

To accelerate our development, we are recruiting an ESG Analyst to join our reference data team.

Your responsibilities

1. Modeling and integration of new repositories in Harnest

• Mapping, analyzing and structuring new European and international ESG frameworks.
• Translate these reference data points into actionable data points in Harnest.
• Produce comparative analyses between existing data points and new content (similarities, gaps, correspondence rate).
• Contribute to the expansion of the VSME+ catalogue (territorial or sectoral modules: BITD, energy, health, digital…).
• Working closely with the product team to improve the platform and enrich the data model

2. Customer support: data, reporting and management

• Helping clients structure their ESG data in Harnest.
• Verify the consistency, quality and traceability of the data collected.
• Answering technical and regulatory questions (CSRD scope, IROs, materiality, taxonomy…).
• Prepare, with the Customer Success team, dashboards and reports that can be used by CSR, Finance, or Executive Committee departments.
• Ensure proper understanding of the standards and support them in preparing for the audit (OTI).
• Contribute to the creation of sector benchmarks.
