Equity Listing Intern

Location: Paris. Internship start in August/September 2026, duration 6 months. You will report to the Business Development Manager in the Primary Markets department.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Development team in projects to deliver on the Primary Markets business unit’s 2027 strategic ambitions to enhance Euronext’s value proposition and its position as a key listing venue among global exchanges.
  • Reinforce Euronext listing franchise leading position focusing on tech companies, SMEs and ESG‑related topics.
  • Enhance the commercial coverage model and the value proposition toward existing and prospective issuers.
  • Optimise the end‑to‑end customer experience for listed companies at various touchpoints and in collaboration with other client‑facing teams.
  • Improve the visibility and attractiveness of Euronext as a listing venue to firms inside and outside Euronext’s core geographies.
  • Harmonise regulatory frameworks and advocate for adequate rules, measures and initiatives to reinforce European equity capital markets competitiveness and attractiveness.
  • Perform project management, prepare presentations, conduct market sizing and activity benchmarking against competing exchanges, and perform financial modelling and analyses.
  • Contribute to strengthening the department’s research capacities by producing content on specific sectors or topics related to equity capital markets.
  • On an ad hoc basis, support the listing sales teams with data analysis for commercial pitches to address clients, prospects or partners.

Qualifications

  • Final or penultimate year of master’s degree, specialising in business, finance, engineering or political science.
  • Previous experience, ideally in a strategy‑consulting firm or investment bank, or in a demanding position in the wider financial services industry and/or a large corporate, would be a plus.
  • Good understanding of financial services.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities; ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of a wide span of complex strategic, operational and regulatory matters.
  • Impeccable oral and written English. French would be a plus.
  • Ability to articulate a strategy orally and in writing and to communicate key decision points clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Fast learner, proactive behaviour and entrepreneurial mindset (pragmatic, hands‑on in execution, ability to recommend decisions under uncertainty).
  • Ability to deliver results and make things happen from project inception to completion.
  • Good interpersonal skills to handle a wide multicultural network of stakeholders.
