EpochTV Associate Producer

Location: Remote, Employment type: Freelance

Description

We are looking for an associate producer for EpochTV’s Lifestyle programs. The position includes research, development of content ideas, checking for factual errors, and conceptualizing and writing scripts and promotional material.

Duties

• Conduct research of relevant facts and statistics for episodes and offer content suggestions
• Book studio space and schedule shoots
• Assist in booking interviews with guests
• Coordinate logistics for filming with guests and arrange travel logistics for guests and/or crew
• Review content for factual errors and inaccuracies
• Work with video editor(s) in identifying relevant documents, soundbites, and b‑roll to feature
• Write teaser scripts for social media
• Work with the designer on the thumbnail design and prepare promotional materials for social media

Job Requirements

• 2+ years prior experience in television production
• Vast knowledge of lifestyle topics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create strong engagement in social media
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced team and meet deadlines
• Ability to work flexible/non‑standard hours based on the needs of the show
• Must have a keen awareness of what it means to produce objective, unbiased, factual content

Pay Range

$25–$45 per hour. The quoted hourly pay range represents our good faith estimate as to what our candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range according to the selected candidate’s experience, location, technical skills, and other factors.
