Role Overview
We invite you to join L’Oréal Finance & Legal’s Global F&L Transformation team as an EPM FP&A Functional Analyst. In this role you will provide functional and technical support for Compass, the Group’s worldwide FP&A application, and serve as a strategic bridge between field users and product teams, contributing to the Compass transformation roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional and technical support to our 2,500 Group controllers on Compass, particularly during close and reporting periods.
- Act as a key bridge between business users and product teams, channeling field insights on pain points and needs to influence the Compass transformation roadmap.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects such as the Compass Companion/GPT or other initiatives, optimizing support efficiency using Agile methodology.
- Drive change management and training, developing user guides and communication initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new Compass features.
- Coordinate with Finance and Systems stakeholders (Group Reporting, IT, Magnitude team) during significant structural changes such as reorganizations or acquisitions.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Finance or Management with initial experience in a finance role (controlling, FP&A, reporting, audit).
- Strong understanding of finance processes (close, budget, forecast) and experience with an EPM solution; proficiency in Compass is a significant asset.
- A curious, service‑oriented mindset with a genuine enjoyment for helping others and solving problems.
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and translate complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
