The site employs around 500+ people and operates machining, surface treatment, and complex mechanical processes.
The Opportunity
As part of the site leadership team, you will define and deploy the EHS strategy, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across the plant. You’ll act as the key advisor to senior management on all EHS matters, driving a strong safety culture and ensuring alignment with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and internal corporate standards.
You will lead a dedicated EHS team, manage systems and processes, and influence stakeholders at every level to deliver a safe, compliant, and high‑performing operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the site’s EHS strategy and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
- Advise senior leadership on all environmental, health, and safety matters
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Manage and update the site’s DUERP / risk assessment documentation
- Prepare and lead CSSCT meetings and support employee representative bodies
- Deliver internal EHS training and drive safety culture initiatives
- Manage a team of 5 EHS professionals (Environment Manager, Technicians, Safety Coordinators) Oversee EHS budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and performance reporting
- Strengthen cross‑functional collaboration to support safe and efficient operations

Ideal Background
- Degree in EHS, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
- Strong EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Team leadership and cross‑functional project experience
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, metallurgy, or other regulated sectors
