Entrepreneur-in-Residence

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Entrepreneur-in-Residence based in France.

As an Entrepreneur-in-Residence, you will explore new markets, identify business opportunities, and drive strategic initiatives across the financial services, banking, insurance, and telecommunications sectors. You will combine entrepreneurial thinking with hands-on execution to turn promising ideas into scalable business opportunities. Working closely with product and marketing teams, you will influence product direction and develop go-to-market strategies that respond to market needs. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of high-impact projects from concept to execution in a dynamic, international environment. You will operate with significant autonomy, collaborate with key decision-makers, and contribute directly to long-term business growth. Accountabilities

• Explore new markets, customer segments, and product opportunities across the banking, financial services, insurance, and telecommunications industries.

• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, taking ownership of customer outreach, pitching, pricing, and feedback loops.

• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to translate market insights and customer feedback into product roadmap recommendations.

• Lead high-impact, founder-level special projects that address strategic priorities and accelerate business development.

• Own initiatives from zero to one, driving projects from initial concept through validation, execution, and growth.

• Operate as a versatile generalist, taking on diverse responsibilities and leading cross-functional initiatives as business needs evolve.

• Build relationships with influential stakeholders and key decision-makers to identify opportunities and strengthen market positioning.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in entrepreneurship, business development, strategy, consulting, or a related field.

• Demonstrated aptitude for business building, with the ability to identify opportunities and turn ideas into actionable initiatives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by a data-driven approach to decision-making.

• Experience developing go-to-market strategies, engaging customers, pitching solutions, and exploring new markets is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with key influencers and senior decision-makers.

• A proactive, adaptable, and entrepreneurial attitude, with a willingness to take on diverse responsibilities and tackle unfamiliar challenges.

• A strong sense of independence and accountability, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results without close supervision.

• Professional fluency in English, the primary working language, and native-level proficiency in at least one European language. German, Spanish, and Portuguese are preferred.

• Availability to work from a European location in a remote capacity.
