Enterprise Architect - Applications
Role Overview
Sonepar is looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Architect – Applications to help define and drive the evolution of the Group application landscape. This role will be responsible for shaping the target application architecture, rationalizing enterprise platforms, defining architecture standards and governance, and supporting strategic transformation initiatives across Sonepar’s global organization.
What You Will Do
Define and maintain the target enterprise application architecture aligned with Sonepar’s strategic priorities. Drive the modernization and simplification of the global application landscape. Establish architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or large-scale Application Architecture roles.
- Strong experience with complex enterprise environments and global transformation programs.
- Deep understanding of enterprise business applications and business processes.
- Experience across domains such as ERP, Supply Chain, Commerce, Pricing, Product Information Management, Integration, and Data Platforms.
- Strong knowledge of modern architecture patterns including API-led architecture, event-driven architecture, cloud-native platforms, SaaS ecosystems, and microservices.
- Experience with enterprise integration platforms and middleware technologies.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, governance, and technology standardization.
- Experience working in multinational and matrix organizations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with pragmatic execution.
- Fluent in English.
