Enterprise Account Executive
We’re looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our Sales team and take a direct role in muchbetter’s next phase of growth across Europe.
Your missions
1. Hunt and open new enterprise accounts
Your core mission will be to create new business opportunities with large enterprises across France and the rest of Europe. You will:
- Identify and prioritise the strategic accounts to go after
- Prospect actively through cold calling, LinkedIn, email and multi-channel outreach
- Build account-based approach strategies and find the right entry points
- Develop multiple relationships within a single enterprise group
- Build and maintain a large, qualified pipeline
Our buyers are mainly L&D and Training Directors, Sales Directors, CHROs and HR Directors, Sales Excellence / Sales Academy leads, and C-level executives.
2. Run complex sales cycles end to end
You will own your entire sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, qualification, business case, pilot, negotiation, closing, rollout.
Our sales cycles are strategic and relatively long, up to 12 months, usually starting with a pilot or POC phase before a larger-scale deployment. Deals are often multi-country, which means navigating local training teams alongside group-level sponsors.
You will:
- Build a deep understanding of the prospect’s business, commercial and people challenges
- Pinpoint performance gaps in their sales or customer service populations
- Run tailored muchbetter.ai demos
- Build the business case with internal sponsors
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder organisations
- Map decision-makers, sponsors, blockers and decision processes
- Lead negotiation and contracting, including procurement, legal, works councils and data protection reviews where relevant
- Turn successful pilots into large-scale rollouts
Contracts typically range from €50K to €200K , with significant expansion potential inside each group.
3. Become a genuine business partner to your prospects
We’re not looking for someone who just demos a platform.
You’ll need to run high-level discovery with senior executives , understand their commercial strategy, and surface the challenges where muchbetter can deliver measurable impact.
You’ll be in regular contact with very senior stakeholders: CHROs, Sales Directors, Training Directors, Transformation Directors, Sales Excellence Directors and C-level.
The goal: move the conversation from “a training tool” to commercial performance, productivity, onboarding, ramp-up and ROI.
4. Help build the muchbetter sales machine
We’re still a young, fast-growing company: you’re not joining a fixed sales organisation.
- Sharpening our prospecting strategy
- Structuring our sales processes
- Evolving our pitch and sales methodology
- Qualifying and segmenting our accounts
- Improving our KPIs and forecasting
- Feeding market insight back to Product and Marketing
- Gradually building a sales organisation that can scale across Europe
Why join muchbetter?
You’ll join a startup that is well past market validation: more than 40 large European groups already use the platform, with significant deployments at several of them (Boulanger across 2,800 retail sellers, BNP Paribas Personal Finance across sales and customer service populations, Philips Healthcare across 15 countries).
The product is built for European enterprise from the ground up: 25+ languages, EU-based hosting, GDPR compliance and ISO 27001 certification, which removes most of the friction that slows down cross-border rollouts.
But we’re still small enough that every new salesperson can have a major impact on how the team is built and how fast the company grows.
We’re looking first and foremost for a hunter, someone who can build relationships with senior stakeholders and run complex sales.
- 3 to 5+ years in B2B sales, ideally SaaS, training, HRTech, SalesTech or another complex solutionReal experience in outbound prospecting and new business
- Enterprise account experience is a strong plus
- Strong command of discovery, qualification, negotiation and closing
- Comfortable with long sales cycles and multiple decision-makers
- Able to hold a conversation with C-level executives
- Strong results and pipeline culture
- Autonomous, structured, persistent and entrepreneurial
- Keen to join a fast-growing startup and help build it
- Fluent English and French, written and spoken
- A third European language (German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch) is a real plus
- Willing to travel occasionally across Europe for client meetings
- Experience with methodologies such as MEDDIC / MEDDPICC / Challenger Sale is a plus
