Position Purpose

The Enrollment Advisor is responsible for enrolling students who meet the admissions criteria and can benefit from the academic programs offered. This role requires maintaining high enrollment standards and leading by example in personal performance and productivity.

Key Duties

  • Evaluate and enroll qualified prospective students for academic programs.
  • Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and meetings to promote enrollment and assist applicants.
  • Achieve high student start rates by leading in personal production and meeting enrollment targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments and participate in recruitment events to enhance outreach and support new students.

Job Responsibilities

  • Attract qualified students who will benefit from the school’s programs while refraining from involvement in admissions testing or decisions.
  • Manage inquiries throughout the admissions process, including calls, appointments, interviews, applications, and follow‑up for orientation and enrollment.
  • Update CampusNexus with all inquiry‑related activities, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and documenting interactions in the Contact History.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through timely communication, generating new inquiries via networking and referrals, and addressing routine and complex issues.
  • Enhance recruitment strategies creatively and maintain a flexible schedule to attend events like career fairs.
  • Complete the Admissions Blue Folder according to the Student File checklist, ensuring all required documents are tracked and scanned in CampusNexus.
  • Report daily recruitment activities to the Campus Director of Admissions, attend meetings, and collaborate on media plans to prepare for inquiry flow.
  • Adhere to Admissions Policies and Procedures, regulatory guidelines, and be available for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Admissions.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse individuals.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented, quick-thinking, and organized approach to problem-solving and achieving goals.
  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, demonstrating the ability to build relationships and close opportunities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to learn new software as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required to fulfill job responsibilities and support recruitment efforts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of one year of admissions or related experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of the enrollment process.
  • Previous experience working in a campus setting, with a strong familiarity with student services and academic programs.
  • Hands‑on experience with CampusNexus or similar student information systems, showcasing the ability to navigate and utilize technology effectively in the admissions process.

Work Schedule

  • Tuesday–Thursday 9 am to 6 pm
  • Friday 8 am to 5 pm
  • Saturday 9 am to 6 pm
