Overview
Business Purpose & Value Contribution – The PMM focuses on communicating product value to the market and driving adoption while the PM focuses on building the right product together with the R&D team. She/He translates the Solution’s vision for the Solution’s portfolio.
Own the positioning and the Go‑to‑Market, i.e. the customer‑facing ‘why?’
- Messaging & positioning: Crafts clear, differentiated messages explaining the portfolio’s unique value
- Go‑To‑Market strategy: Plans and executes product launches and marketing campaigns. Define the right success metrics.
- Sales enablement: Creates tools and materials (collateral, presentations, training) that enable sales teams to sell effectively.
- Customer advocacy: Create content for campaigns & web and develops case studies, testimonials, and references to establish market credibility.
- Market intelligence: Tracks competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to refine positioning, pricing and messaging.
Key Deliverables
- Positioning & Messaging – Develop clear product positioning and messaging for key customer segments and use cases. Create concise internal frameworks and enablement materials used by Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
- Ideal Customer Profile & Segmentation – Define and maintain ICPs, segmentation models, pain points, and buying committees. Provide supporting materials for Sales, Marketing and partner teams.
- Go to Market (GTM) Planning – Build and execute GTM plans for launches and ongoing marketing, including target segments, pricing/packaging inputs, channels, content plans, enablement, and KPIs.
- Competitive & Market Intelligence – Deliver competitive briefs, battlecards, and market insights to support Sales and Product strategy. Maintain an up‑to‑date view of the market landscape.
- Performance Dashboards & KPIs – Define marketing KPIs, build dashboards, and analyze campaign performance to improve ROI and inform future initiatives.
- Customer Advocacy & Content – Produce customer‑facing and internal content such as demos, case studies, campaign assets, and release materials. Support the development of a scalable content and testimonial library.
Responsibilities
- Degree in Engineering, in structure (or in civil) engineering is a must. An additional degree in marketing is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering, ideally in multi‑disciplinary design firms. Experience in marketing is a big plus.
- Strong analytical skills, including a track record in leveraging data to generate insights to feed into marketing campaigns.
- Experience in collaborating with international teams.
- Significant experience in managing complex technical content for a business point of view.
- Analytical mindset and data driven.
- Fluent written and oral English, French a plus.
- Autonomy, clarity in communication.
- Facility to interact with staff, colleagues, cross‑functional teams.
- Creative and innovative thinking with ability to drive accelerated business growth.
What is nice to have done already:
- Knowledge of subscription business and software companies.
