You will lead a small but highly skilled SRE team responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of critical product systems. Acting as both a hands‑on technical contributor and a strategic leader, you will shape reliability roadmaps while influencing broader engineering direction. The position requires strong infrastructure instincts, the ability to anticipate operational risks, and a proactive mindset toward developer experience. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to translate roadmap needs into resilient systems. Accountabilities

• Lead and own the end‑to‑end Site Reliability Engineering roadmap, defining priorities, driving execution, and ensuring measurable impact across the organization.
• Act as the primary infrastructure and reliability voice for your business unit, aligning product roadmaps with platform capabilities and advocating upstream needs.
• Drive operational excellence across compliance, security, and infrastructure risk management, proactively identifying and resolving issues before escalation.
• Improve developer experience by identifying friction points and leading initiatives that enhance productivity and system reliability.
• Participate in architectural and technical discussions, bringing deep SRE expertise and ensuring decisions are implemented effectively.
• Lead a small SRE team (4–6 engineers), supporting performance management, career development, and team growth.

Requirements

This role requires strong hands‑on technical expertise combined with proven engineering leadership experience. Candidates should bring a solid background in Site Reliability Engineering or infrastructure engineering, with the ability to contribute technically when needed while guiding a team strategically. You should be comfortable working in cloud‑native environments and collaborating across complex engineering organizations.

• 6–10+ years of experience in SRE, infrastructure, or platform engineering roles.
• Prior experience managing or leading small‑to‑mid‑sized engineering teams with full performance cycles.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of cloud‑native systems including Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
• Proven ability to define and own infrastructure or SRE roadmaps and execute independently.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to operate in fast‑paced, distributed environments with a strong ownership mindset.
