This pivotal role involves overseeing four engineering teams and their leaders as we enhance our platform into a comprehensive daily health management tool, including our specialized Health Companion designed for parents.

What you'll do
- Lead and mentor four engineering teams, promoting a high-performance culture and ensuring effective collaboration among team members.
- Shape the technical vision for innovative features such as AI-driven chatbots, recommendation engines, and mobile health interfaces.
- Align the engineering team's roadmaps with the overarching business objectives and product strategies to ensure cohesive progress.
- Develop and implement architectural and development standards that facilitate rapid iterations while maintaining high security and quality.
- Work closely with design, product management, and medical experts to enhance user experiences and ensure our solutions meet user needs.
- Drive growth initiatives and acquisition strategies to broaden our market presence across Europe, ensuring our products reach a wider audience.
- Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement within the engineering teams, encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to keep our platform at the forefront of health tech advancements.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years in engineering management, with experience in leading teams of managers and engineers.
- Demonstrated success in attracting, developing, and retaining top technical talent within the engineering field.
- Strong technical expertise in distributed systems and architecture, particularly in mobile and backend environments.
- Proven ability to convert complex business objectives into clear and actionable technical roadmaps.
- A strong focus on user-centric product development, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of engineering decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in the consumer health technology sector or within regulated medical environments, providing insights into industry standards and practices.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, content platforms, or recommendation systems, enhancing our technological capabilities.
- A history of successfully launching and scaling mobile applications, demonstrating an understanding of market dynamics and user engagement.
