Engineer Issuing Support

Systems Analyst (Fintech): Providing 2nd level technical support for issuing business applications with an accent on root cause analysis, service reliability, and incident management. Focus on developing automated tools, monitoring procedures, and collaborating with cross‑functional global engineering teams to ensure seamless merchant service operations.

Location: Gallarate, Italy or Paris, France

What you will do

• Provide 2nd level support for issuing solutions and manage technical communication with key global merchants.
• Identify root causes of technical issues and drive problem management activities.
• Develop and implement automated tools and procedures to improve service reliability and incident response.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy software releases to production and non‑production environments.
• Plan and document service changes, ensuring thorough communication with stakeholders.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external partners in a multi‑cultural, matrix organization.

Requirements

• Minimum 2‑4 years of experience in application support or a similar DevOps role.
• Experience with Powershell, SQL, APIs, JSON, HTTPS, and Javascript/C#.
• Proven experience working in a matrix organization with distributed teams across time zones.
• Excellent ability to analyze and simplify complex problems.
• Operational hands‑on attitude and resolution orientation.
• Relevant IT or business administration education.

Nice to have

• Experience with SPLUNK or similar analysis and reporting tools.
• Understanding of Point‑of‑Sale (POS) technology and transactional systems.
• ITIL certification.
• Experience working in an international environment.
