Engine Airworthiness Specialist M/F

Within the Airworthiness & Technical Services Division (40 technical specialists) located in Blagnac and dedicated to airworthiness expertise, support to brand new aircraft delivery and borescope inspections, we are looking for our Engine Airworthiness Specialist M/F.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the airworthiness of the engines / APU.
  • Secure the engines / APU transitions and returns to service in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Collect and expertise engines / APU records (for ATR, Airbus, Boeing…) for 2nd hand aircraft transitions, establish the continuing airworthiness and maintenance technical history to validate the engine airworthiness and compliance with lease contracts.
  • Manage the Discrepancy Item List closure process and support customers for commitment letter writing.
  • Initiate statuses in the MIS database for entry into the CAMO.
  • Act as the airline’s representative in preparing statuses for redelivery to lessor.
  • Ensure the airworthiness of the engines / APU through standard CAMO tasks (AD/SB analysis, Maintenance Schedule & Kardex follow‑up, workscope built‑up and launching, MRO maintenance workpackage follow‑up and analysis, oil consumption and trend monitoring analysis, update of engines / APU status, part robbery management, reporting) during the CAMO follow‑up period and for Airworthiness Reviews (ARC renewal, initial certification, flight permit…).
  • Update and organize records for delivery in accordance with redelivery conditions.
  • Support engine / APU record presentation during delivery acceptance phase and Airworthiness Review.
  • Follow final customer engine / APU record discrepancies and manage closure process.
  • Perform technical audits (on‑site shop visit follow‑up, remaining Green Time analysis, Pre‑Purchase inspection) and issue associated reports.

Level Required (Training/Experience)

BAC +3 to Bac + 5 in Aeronautical Engineering, with at least 2 years of professional experience in continuing airworthiness and/or maintenance engines activities in Airline and/or MRO. Experience in engine transaction processes, shop visits, and CAMO activities is required.

Required skills

  • Technical and operational skills
    • Knowledge of the applicable airworthiness regulations (Part CAMO).
    • Knowledge of the CFM, Rolls‑Royce, Pratt & Whitney engines.
    • Knowledge of the engine records and contents.
    • Knowledge of ESM documentation.
    • Knowledge of OEM portals (Airbus World / MyBoeing Fleet).
    • Knowledge of ADsoftware Maintenance Information System would be an asset.
