Within the Airworthiness & Technical Services Division (40 technical specialists) located in Blagnac and dedicated to airworthiness expertise, support for brand‑new aircraft delivery and borescope inspections, we are looking for an Engine Airworthiness Specialist M/F.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the airworthiness of the engines/APU.
  • Secure engine/APU transitions and returns to service in accordance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Collect and expertise engine/APU records (for ATR, Airbus, Boeing, … aircraft) within the frame of second‑hand aircraft transitions, establish the continuing airworthiness and maintenance technical history to validate engine airworthiness and compliance with lease contracts.
  • Manage the Discrepancy Item List closure process and support the customer for commitment letter writing.
  • Initiate statuses in the MIS database for entry to the CAMO.
  • Support the airline’s representative in preparing statuses within the frame of a redelivery to the lessor.
  • Ensure airworthiness through standard CAMO tasks (AD/SB analysis, maintenance schedule & Kardex follow‑up, workscope build‑up and launch, MRO maintenance work‑package follow‑up and analysis, oil consumption and trend monitoring analysis, update of engine/APU status, part robbery management, reporting, …). For the CAMO follow‑up period and for the Airworthiness Reviews (ARC renewal, initial certification, flight permit, …).
  • Update and organize records for delivery in accordance with redelivery conditions.
  • Support engine/APU records presentation during delivery acceptance phase and Airworthiness Review.
  • Follow final customer engine/APU record discrepancies and manage the closure process.
  • Perform technical audits (on‑site shop visit follow‑up, remaining green time analysis, pre‑purchase inspection, …) and issue associated reports.

Qualifications

  • Level required: BAC +3 to BAC +5 in Aeronautical Engineering, with at least 2 years of professional experience in continuing airworthiness and/or maintenance engine activities in airlines and/or MRO.
  • Experience in engine transaction processes, shop visits and CAMO activities.
  • Technical knowledge:
    • Applicable airworthiness regulations (Part CAMO).
    • CFM, Rolls‑Royce, Pratt & Whitney engines.
    • Engine records and contents.
    • ESM documentation.
    • OEM portals (Airbus World / MyBoeing Fleet).
    • Familiarity with ADsoftware Maintenance Information System is an asset.
  • Relational skills and attitudes:

    • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.
