Energy Data Systems Administrator | Evaluation Support

ProSidian seeks an Energy Data Systems Administrator with Evaluation Support responsibilities on a 1099 contract in the Mid Atlantic region, primarily located in Washington DC. The role supports a branch of the Department of Energy (DOE) that leverages science and technology to address energy, environmental, and nuclear challenges, and advances climate and energy policies through strategic studies and policy analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage systems for storing, tracking, and analyzing program evaluation data efficiently.
  • Align with Evaluation Support Functional Area initiatives, ensuring storage, organization, and accessibility of program data on DOE systems for evaluation purposes.
  • Provide public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting, and report development.
  • Develop data tracking tools and conduct workforce policy analysis and convening.
  • Deliver energy market economic and regulatory analysis technical consulting services to support DOE Office of Policy activities.
  • Assess the impact, feasibility, and outcomes of energy programs and policies using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Maintain confidentiality and standards for sensitive DOE information; ensure clearance compliance (Secret Fcl/Top Secret Fcl or DOE Q).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in energy, environmental science, policy, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in energy, policy, or technical consulting.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Ability to multi‑task, pay close attention to detail, and work collaboratively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to quickly learn additional tools.
  • U.S. citizenship required; visa sponsorship not offered.
  • Background check and drug testing required; subject to DOE clearance requirements.
