Energy Data Quality Specialist | Mapping Support
ProSidian seeks an Energy Data Quality Specialist | Mapping Support. This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) mapping support functional area - energy technical consulting position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.
Provide services and support as an Energy Technical Consulting (Energy Data Quality Specialist) in the Energy, Science, and Technology Research Industry Sector focusing on business process solutions for clients such as the Department of Energy (DOE | OP) | DOE Office of Policy (OP) generally located in CONUS - Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region.
Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy and consistency of energy-related geospatial data for analysis and decision-making. Align with mapping support functional area initiatives as a data quality specialist that conduct data quality assurance checks, identify errors, and address data gaps for geospatial datasets.
Provide public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting and report development, data tracking tools, workforce policy analysis and convening, as well as energy market economic and regulatory analysis technical consulting services and support for the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP).
These services enable mission objectives involved with renewable energy, fossil fuels, nuclear energy, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, energy storage, grid modernization, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure technologies.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates for data quality specialist must possess expertise in their respective field, with experience in energy, policy, and technical consulting.
