Excellence Warehouse Manager – EMEA
Contract: 12‑month fixed‑term contract
Scope: Animal Nutrition & Pet Foods
Manager: EMEA Logistics Director
Department: Supply Chain
Location: Saint‑Nolff, France or other European countries
Key Missions
The Excellence Warehouse Manager will drive regional warehousing processes across all product categories (raw materials, packaging, and finished goods), including associated transport flows. He/She will implement strategic initiatives to enhance safety, service levels, cost efficiency, and sustainability across the Supply Chain.
Strategy & Optimization
- Define, standardize, and continuously improve warehousing strategies and processes across the EMEA region.
- Optimize replenishment and outbound flows to and from warehouses by identifying the most efficient transport modes, schedules, and frequencies.
- Develop and implement standard processes and SOPs covering safety, quality, operations, cost, and service.
3PL Management & Contracts
- Contribute to the selection of warehousing 3PL partners (including transport where applicable), and support pricing and contract negotiations in close collaboration with Procurement.
- Define relevant KPIs and lead regular performance reviews with 3PL partners to anticipate operational risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Digital & Systems
- Ensure that WMS (and TMS where applicable) are properly implemented, maintained, and effectively used.
- Support ongoing automation and system implementation projects, including WMS deployments.
Performance & Compliance
- Manage the warehousing budget; monitor KPIs and performance metrics; analyze trends and implement preventive or corrective actions.
- Ensure full compliance with internal standards, regulatory requirements, and environmental objectives.
Leadership & Safety
- Ensure the health and safety of internal teams and external partners.
- Coach and develop teams, promote a continuous improvement mindset, and share best practices across the organization.
Profile & Skills
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Logistics Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or customs, including management of external partners.
- Proven experience in warehousing management, supply chain optimization, WMS implementation, and project management, with strong continuous improvement/Lean skills (process mapping, SOP development, etc.).
- Strong affinity with IT systems (WMS, TMS, SAP, Coupa) and analytical tools (advanced Excel, Power BI).
- Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills; problem‑solving mindset; customer‑centric; experienced in change management and leadership.
- Autonomous, adaptable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills; structured, with solid financial and commercial acumen.

- Ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities simultaneously.
