Clause is recruiting an EMEA Production Operations Lead (M/F) based in Portes-lès-Valence.

Reporting to the Global Seed Production Director, you will lead and develop agronomic production operations across the EMEA region (France, Spain, Kenya). You will manage a network of Country Seed Production Managers, Home Farm Managers, and field teams, ensuring operational performance, quality, and compliance with Limagrain Group standards.

You will play a key role in shaping and executing the regional production strategy while contributing to the global production vision in line with the long term LVS (Limagrain Vegetable Seed) ambitions

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESStrategy & Execution

Deploy and execute the regional production strategy (capacity, development, organization) in alignment with the global roadmap

Lead the development of home farm production and grower networks

Drive strategic projects and transformation initiatives across the region

Contribute actively to the global production strategy within an international leadership team

Deploy the strategic positioning of the Home Farms in the EMEA region in collaboration with the sister BUs of LVS.

Leadership & Organization:Lead, develop, and inspire a multicultural team of country managers and production teams

Foster a strong leadership culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous development

Support talent development and succession planning

Collaborate with LVS stakeholders and Production Team of sister BUs

Build strong interaction with LVS Seed Supply Managers and Supply Crop Lead

Performance & Operational Excellence

Define and monitor KPIs to drive performance and transparency

Implement and sustain a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement

Optimize productivity, efficiency, and reliability across production sites

Ensure Home Farms are operating at full capacity

Budget Management :Build and manage regional OPEX and CAPEX budgets in line with business objectives together with Country Manager and FP&A department

Ensure rigorous financial planning, cost control, and investment tracking

Safety, Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with local regulations and Limagrain Group policies

Oversee incident management and corrective action plans

Promote best practices, standardization, and knowledge sharing across sites

Contribute to environmental and sustainability initiatives

Collaboration & Stakeholders engagement

Act as a key partner within the global production organization

Strengthen collaboration across supply chain functions and Limagrain Vegetable Seeds business units

Drive alignment between regional and global priorities

Promote the CARE Value Collaboration, Accountability, Respect and Entrepreneurship and put our Principles of Action into practice

YOUR PROFILEEducation & Experience:Master’s degree in agriculture, agri-food, horticulture, or a related field5 to 10 years of experience in the seed, horticulture, or agri-food sector, including proven experience in management and project management

Required Skills:Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills

Demonstrated leadership with experience managing multicultural teams

Solid expertise in seed or agronomic production

Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills in complex environments

Leadership – Ability to set direction, inspire teams, and drive results.

Complex project management – Proven ability to lead and deliver large, cross-functional projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.

Purchasing expertise – Strong understanding of procurement strategies, cost optimization, supplier management, and value creation

Willingness to travel in Europe and Africa and interact with seed production growers and multicultural teams

Languages:Fluent French and English required

Spanish is a plus

Mobility:15 to 20% travel (France & international)
