EMEA Cloud Architect & Cybersecurity specialist

Overview

You will be responsible for designing secure and resilient cloud platforms and Microsoft 365 environments for Sakata across the EMEA region. Your focus will be on technology, governance, risk management, and ensuring the security of IT operations in a globally critical environment. You will act as the technical reference in Cloud and Cybersecurity and will advise local IT teams while promoting standards and compliance throughout Sakata’s global network.

Responsibilities

• Design secure and resilient cloud and Microsoft 365 platforms for the EMEA region.
• Lead architecture, governance and risk management for cloud environments and related services.
• Ensure continuity of services, reduce cyber risk and maintain operational resilience.
• Be the technical reference for Cloud and Cybersecurity, guiding local IT teams and representing Sakata worldwide.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, auditors, and vendors to document and communicate security standards.

Location

This role is based in Uchaud (30), the EMEA headquarters, and requires regular travel across Sakata sites in the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or cloud architecture, or a similar IT role.
• Strong expertise in Azure and the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Defender, Sentinel).
• Knowledge of the NIST framework is a plus.
• Experience working in service-oriented, critical business environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to document and explain security standards.
• Proficiency in English is required.
