Electrotechnicien (H/F)

Job Overview

MTB Manufacturing, a leading provider of recycling machinery, seeks an Electrical Technician to support the engineering and assembly of machines in France and abroad. The role reports to the Electrical Services Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable wiring of electrical cabinets (contactors, control relays); pull cables and install electrical equipment.
• Execute cable pulling, conduit laying, and routing for customer sites.
• Connect machines and electrical cabinets (motors, sensors, junction boxes, cabinet terminations).
• Apply safety and environmental directives, wear PPE, and report hazards to superiors.
• Conduct preliminary testing before commissioning installations or equipment.
• Record intervention support, provide the required information to the responsible service, and maintain accurate notes.
• Replicate wiring tasks for furniture cabinets at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and electrical design.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and plans.
• Proficiency in English at a professional level.
• Independent, organized, and methodical, with the capacity to work both autonomously and in teams.
• Strong analytical skills, prioritization and reaction to varied technical installations.
• Experience with troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, parametric calibration, and corrective actions.
• Capability to use measurement devices (pressure, flow, vibration, electrical meters).
• Practicing safety: helmet, PPE, waste and noise regulations.
• Team oriented, rigorous, precise, curious, and open‑minded.
