Let's talk about your future mission
Within the Safran Electronics & Defense design office (Avionics Control Computers Engineering Center), you will be part of a team responsible for monitoring and managing the evolution of aeronautical electronic computers in series production.
Thanks to your knowledge of our products, you will participate in a portfolio of avionics computers:
- in the analysis and processing of technical facts
- in production support, in order to meet quality/cost/delivery objectives
- in the technical expertise of products returned by customers
- in the processing of component obsolescence, whether it is to identify substitution solutions, justify them and verify non-regression on the products concerned.
A strong link with manufacturing workshops is necessary to characterize and find solutions to the various problems encountered in production.
In your daily activities, you can rely on cross-functional teams (technologists, designers, component experts) to carry out your expertise and instruct your files.
As technical contributions are made, you offer your feedback to the team to improve our products every day, whether in series production or in development.
The products you work on are currently in service and require rigorous traceability for any changes to be made.
The method and justification aspect with a significant documentation effort is an important marker in the field of avionics computers (written in English).
These equipments are dedicated to monitoring and control/command functions for civil or military applications and are integrated into landing gear or flight control systems.

Integration into a team of about fifteen people, in charge of various avionics computers for our Safran system integrators and aircraft manufacturers.Travel between Massy (design offices) and Fougéres (manufacturing center) to be expected.Occasional travel to customer sites to participate in meetings or joint expertise to be expected.

Let's talk about you
You have 6 to 10 years of experience as an Electronician with experience in a design office and/or similar activity in production.
Your skills in digital & analog electronics allow you to independently handle evolution or expertise work on critical products.
You are rigorous in writing technical documents and proceed methodically in your expertise and associated reports.
You know how to adapt your communication according to your interlocutors (technical, program, client, etc...).
