Electrical system engineer (M/F)

Key Responsibilities
Design electrical architectures for aeronautical systems:
Power distribution networks, wiring harnesses, and control systems.
Integration of avionics and embedded electronic modules.
Develop technical documentation in compliance with aeronautical standards:
Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system specifications (using EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD).
Power budget calculations, load analyses, and fault tolerance studies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams: Mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless integration.
Participation in design reviews, risk assessments, and validation tests.
Support project lifecycle from concept to certification: Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and certification bodies (EASA, FAA).
Ensure compliance with standards such as DO-160, DO-254, and MIL-STD.
Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in electrical system design.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical system design, preferably in the aeronautics or defense sector.
Proficiency in electrical design and analysis tools: EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, AutoCAD, Siemens NX.
Experience with PLC, DDT/ADT, and SAP is a plus.
Strong knowledge of aeronautical standards: DO-160 (Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures), DO-254 (Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware).
Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 (EMC) and MIL-STD-704 (Aircraft Electric Power Characteristics).
Experience with technical documentation and certification processes.
Fluency in English and French.
