Electrical Power Distribution System engineer (m/f)

Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an Electrical Power Distribution Engineer (f/m) to join the Electrical Distribution, Conversion & Network Quality Team based in Toulouse, France. The role focuses on leading the development of future low voltage platforms to meet aircraft decarbonisation goals and supporting in‑service operations.

Responsibilities

• Specify functional and performance requirements for electrical distribution systems and techno‑bricks.
• Steer external suppliers to ensure equipment development compliance with safety, cost, and quality standards.
• Define electrical architectures, including function allocation and safety requirements cascading.
• Evaluate solutions and technologies for future aircraft designs using simulation models such as Matlab or CATIA.
• Support suppliers in technical challenges and manage equipment Development Reviews.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with solid experience in electrical systems and high‑voltage constraints / power electronics.
• Proven experience in project management and steering external suppliers in a transnational environment.
• Strong leadership mindset with the ability to interact and negotiate effectively.
• Advanced level of English (negotiation level) is required.
