- Analyze technical files and definition drawings for electrical harnesses
- Define and optimize manufacturing processes and routing sheets for harnesses
- Prepare and update manufacturing files and work instructions
- Define the resources, tooling, and equipment required for manufacturing
- Participate in the industrialization of new products and the introduction of new part numbers into production
- Support production teams during start-up and ramp-up phases
- Analyze production issues and propose appropriate solutions
- Participate in resolving technical problems and implementing corrective actions
- Optimize processes to improve quality, costs, lead times, and productivity
- Conduct or contribute to time studies and workstation improvements
- Participate in defining and improving inspection and testing equipment
- Ensure industrial data and documentation are updated following product or process changes
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Design Engineering, Industrialization, and Supply Chain teams
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and the standardization of best practices
Requirements
- Solid knowledge of electrical harness and cable assembly manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of wire stripping, crimping, insertion, marking, and connector assembly operations
- Knowledge of electrical wiring inspection and testing procedures
- Good understanding of industrialization and production-related challenges
- Experience preparing and updating manufacturing routings and work instructions
- Ability to analyze production issues and propose improvement actions
- Proficiency in office software, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of an aerospace environment and the associated wiring requirements is a significant advantage
- Two- to three-year post-secondary degree in manufacturing methods, industrialization, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar technical field
- Recently graduated Master’s-level candidates or engineers with significant initial experience in industrial methods may also be considered
- Initial experience in methods engineering, industrialization, or electrical harness/cable assembly production is highly preferred
- Experience in the aerospace sector is a significant advantage
- Must be eligible for Secret clearance
