Electrical Engineer – OCONUS (Marseille, France)

Exp Federal is an established, collaborative engineering firm that delivers full‑service design solutions and mission support to federal agencies worldwide. This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Responsibilities

• Develop inspection criteria and electrical designs; perform technical reviews of electrical designs from A‑E firms or government organizations and resolve problems arising during construction and inspection.
• Provide expertise on the electrical engineering aspects of installations, modifications, operations, and maintenance of facilities, mission systems, support systems, and power generation/distribution/grounding systems.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert to review and inspect electrical installations to ensure code compliance for new construction that is in progress or completed.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and procedures for the repair, installation, integration, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems as needed.
• Prepare and review design calculations.

Qualifications

• Project‑based employment located in Marseille, France.
• BSEE degree from an accredited college/university.
• Experience with installation and maintenance of low‑voltage electrical systems.
• At least two years of experience applying standards of UFC 1‑200‑01, UFC 1‑201‑02 and UFC Series 3‑500.
• Active U.S. Federal Government security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one.

Physical Demands

Requires standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling. May need to lift up to 50 pounds and wear personal protective equipment.

Salary Range

$110,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year, based on skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
