GTS Space is working with a company who is looking for an Electrical Architect to join their satellite programme in France.

Electrical Architect – Satellites

Location: France

This is an opportunity to take ownership of electrical architecture on spacecraft programmes, from concept through to qualification and delivery. You'll define the electrical power system design, harness architecture and interface control documentation, working closely with AIT, systems and mechanical teams to ensure the satellite platform meets performance and reliability requirements.

What you'll be doing

• Defining and owning the electrical architecture for satellite platforms, covering power generation, distribution, storage and regulation
• Producing and maintaining electrical block diagrams, ICDs and harness specifications
• Leading trade‑off studies on EPS topology, battery sizing and power budget
• Supporting AIT and test campaigns, including troubleshooting electrical issues at subsystem and system level
• Working with suppliers on electrical component selection and qualification
• Interfacing with systems engineering to ensure electrical requirements are captured and verified throughout the programme lifecycle

What they're looking for

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
• Proven experience in electrical architecture design for spacecraft or satellite platforms
• Strong grounding in power systems (EPS), harness design and electrical interfaces
• Familiarity with space qualification standards and processes (ECSS or equivalent)
• Comfortable working across the full development lifecycle, from concept to AIT
• Fluent French and English
