EHS, Quality, Compliance & Service Providers Manager (F/M)

Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall supplier‑management follow‑up of selected approved service providers used for Molsheim Distribution warehousing and transport activities.
- Support and coordinate EHS, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Trade Compliance requirements within the organization and with service providers.
- Facilitate and translate Merck’s business needs to partners in terms of service level, decisions, issues and audits, with the support of distribution operations and transversal support functions (Quality, Procurement, Merck Global Transportation, Trade Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Customer Excellence, Sales).
- Ensure risk management by formalizing and continuously updating the Business Continuity Plan, identifying potential risks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for EHS, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Trade Compliance to maintain and implement regulated requirements such as quality standards, GDP standards and supplier certifications, and coordinate internal and external audits.
- Develop EHS, Quality and compliance knowledge and culture within the organization.
- Define objectives and processes, identify risks and opportunities, monitor quality performance, and execute continuous improvement activities.
- Act as a quality delegate for Molsheim Distribution and manage ISO process reviews in accordance with MOL Hub procedures and calendars, including external providers performance review and analysis.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Engineer’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in Supply Chain; experience in Quality, EHS or Supplier Management is an additional asset.
- Experience in team management (appreciated).
- Ability and willingness to work in a global cross‑functional environment.
- Ability to promote EHS, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Trade Compliance culture.
- Autonomous and rigorous with strong analytical capacity.
- Capacity to assess priorities and meet agreed‑upon deadlines.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, able to communicate across boundaries, build cross‑functional collaboration and influence without direct authority.
- Strategic mindset.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European language highly appreciated.
