The European Society of Cardiology is seeking to recruit an Educational Programmes Officer (project coordination, events and administrative role) .

This is a full-time permanent position based at the European Society of Cardiology headquarters in the heart of the Sophia Antipolis technology park, within the Education and Programmes Development team.

Major duties and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and ensure the successful delivery of educational programmes, including webinars and educational courses
  • Independently coordinate and deliver online programmes (webinars), in line with ESC and subspecialty needs, expectations and resources
  • Independently coordinate the development and delivery of scientific programmes for educational courses (online, hybrid or in-person), in alignment with ESC and subspecialty requirements
  • Monitor, manage and anticipate all administrative tasks related to assigned projects (purchase orders, budget monitoring, invoice reconciliation)
  • Provide support and maintain versatility across the Scientific Programmes and Content Initiatives department

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent, Bac +3) in project management, education or a related field
  • Previous experience in educational coordination, professional development or online learning is desirable
  • As our audience includes both paying members and volunteers, previous customer service experience would be an advantage
  • As most educational products are delivered online, an interest in digital tools and strong IT skills are required
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

Soft Skills:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong analytical abilities and the capacity to resolve last-minute issues
  • Occasional travel may be required for educational courses delivery and participation in the annual congress (including weekends)

Location:

  • Sophia Antipolis, Alpes-Maritimes, South of France

Conditions:

  • Non-managerial position – 37.5 hours per week
  • 16 additional leave days (RTT) per year
  • Fixed salary + 13th month + holiday bonus (1%)
