EDI and SAP Integration Manager

• Lead, maintain, and enhance the EDI infrastructure (customer, supplier, and carrier exchanges), ensuring the reliability and traceability of data flows.
• Design, implement, and oversee integration interfaces between SAP (ECC / S/4HANA) and external partners or third-party applications (ZENDESK, EDI middleware, CEGEDIM, PA, AI tools, CRM, and 3PL providers).
• Provide Level 2/3 support for data exchange incidents and coordinate their resolution with IT teams and partners.
• Lead end-to-end projects for implementing new EDI flows, including scoping, mapping, testing, and production deployment.
• Ensure compliance of data flows with industry standards and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (traceability and serialization).
• Monitor technology developments and recommend optimizations to the integration architecture.
• Provide functional oversight of external service providers and manage relationships with EDI solution vendors.
• Define the target architecture for integration flows.
• Write and maintain technical and functional documentation for flows and interfaces.
• Maintain a complete and up-to-date map of the Group’s interfaces and data flows.
• Define and monitor flow performance indicators and SLA compliance.
• Ensure interface governance and compliance with integration standards.
• Participate in SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migration projects as the EDI and API subject-matter expert.
• Support the integration of new subsidiaries and contribute to harmonizing integration practices and architectures across the Group.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (engineering school or university) in computer science or information systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an industrial or pharmaceutical environment.
• Proficiency in EDI solutions (Seeburger, Generix, EDICOM, B2BI, or equivalent) and the SAP environment (SD/MM modules, SAP Query, SAP Business Technology Platform).
• Strong knowledge of exchange formats (EDIFACT, XML, IDoc, GS1, and APIs) and transport protocols (AS2, SFTP, OFTP2, and HTTPS).
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a problem-solving mindset for complex challenges.
• Fluent English required for communication with international internal and external partners.
• Experience in SAP development (ABAP, APIs, CDS, and BTP) is an advantage.
• Strong interest in AI tools; in-depth expertise in several tools is a plus.
