The Project
This end-of-study internship project involves developing and deploying an application using a microservices architecture. The intern will work on application development, containerization with Docker, and deployment on a Kubernetes cluster while gaining practical experience in software development and application deployment.
The Mentor

Key Responsibilities
- Application Development: Design the application architecture, develop the backend (RESTful API) and frontend, and configure the database.
- Containerization with Docker: Create Dockerfiles for each microservice and the frontend & Use Docker Compose to orchestrate containerized services.
- Infrastructure Preparation with Terraform: Use Terraform to create virtual machines required for application deployment.
- Kubernetes Cluster Installation & Configuration: Install Kubernetes, configure the pod network, and deploy microservices to the cluster.
- Deployment & Validation: Deploy microservices on Kubernetes, verify service connectivity and ensure application functionality.
Qualifications
Final-year engineering student (Bac+5) specializing in software development, cloud engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge of web development (backend & frontend).Proficiency in containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Docker Compose.Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud computing concepts.Strong motivation to learn and tackle technical challenges.Fluency in both English and French is required.
