Domestic Couple job in Vandrimare, Eure, Normandie, France

A private family is seeking an experienced Domestic Couple to look after their second home in Normandy .

You will live on site in independent accommodation and watch over the property year-round. During the owners’ stays, you will assist them with their daily needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the house, both inside and out
• Look after the garden and grounds
• Carry out minor works and routine maintenance
• Ensure the surveillance and security of the property, including opening and closing the house
• Prepare the house before each of the owners’ arrivals and put it back in order after their departure
• Do the shopping and manage supplies, including stocking the fridge and household essentials
• Lend a hand during receptions
• Organise the household and coordinate service providers as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a caretaker couple or in a similar role
• Versatility across housekeeping, gardening, DIY, and organisation
• Discretion, reliability, and a strong sense of service
• Independence, practicality, and quick thinking when the unexpected arises
• Good level of French
• Driving licence required
• Well-presented appearance

Work conditions

• Permanent full-time contract (CDI)
• Independent accommodation provided on site
• Start date : as soon as possible

€3,500 to €4,000 net per month for the couple
